Online Resources

We provide access to a wide range of online resources to help you deliver patient-focused care and support your studies, research, and teaching.

To access online resources, you will need an NHS OpenAthens account. If you do not have an account you will need to register.

When logged into your NHS OpenAthens account, all the online resources are listed under ‘resources’, simply click on the link to be directed to the resource.

Search Databases

You can search the databases in two ways. First, you can use the NHS Library and Knowledge Hub, which allows you to search across multiple resources from one place. Alternatively, you can visit the Ovid or EBSCO websites to search individual databases directly.
