Our library offers a wide range of practical resources and welcoming spaces designed to support study, research, and professional development.

Information Technology

Wifi


You can connect to the internet using your personal device by accessing one of the four WIFI networks below:

  • CRHFT-Staff – access using your Trust network login details

  • NHS Wi-Fi

  • Eduroam – for students, if supported by your University

  • GOVWifi – you will need to create a GovWifi account, by either:

Texting ‘Go’ to 07537417417

Or

Sending a blank email from your public sector email address to signup@wifi.service.gov.uk


Use of Computers


There are a total of 14 computers in the library, 7 of which are in the quiet/eLearning room. 


Guest logins can be provided on request for registered library members, who haven't yet been allocated a Trust login. There are also desks available with docking stations for laptop use. Headphones are also available to borrow on request.


Photocopying, printing & scanning


Self-service photocopying, printing, and scanning facilities are available in the library.

It is available in sizes A3 and A4, in black & white and in colour. Non work-related printing and copying is charged at 5p per sheet regardless of size or colour.


Make sure you copy right!


Copyright infringement is serious - for guidance please refer to the posters on display in the library, consult a member of library team or visit the CLA website.

Refreshments


Whilst using the library, you can bring in your own food and drinks, but please make sure that you clear away any litter and be careful when having drinks close to electrical equipment.


We have a selection of hot drinks and snacks available for you to purchase at a very reasonable price.


Withdrawn books for sale


Older editions of books are regularly withdrawn from stock and are available to take free of charge.


Study area


In addition to the computer areas, we also have both informal and desk seating areas available to study in a quiet and relaxing environment.


Garden


There is a garden situated at the back of the library. The space can be used for study (with electrical hookup), meetings and for relaxation.


Mindful Aids


We have colouring books, games, jigsaws and puzzles plus a selection of ear defenders and distraction aids that you are very welcome to use during your time in the library.
