The library is based in the Education Centre which is situated at the back of the hospital grounds.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is around one mile outside of the town centre and is only a few miles from junction 29 of the M1.
There are many ways to get to our hospital including by car, bus, train, taxi or by walking.

Chesterfield railway station is approximately five minutes away by car or taxi.

From the North or South, take the M1 and exit at Junction 29 if coming from the South. Take the A617 By-Pass following signs for Chesterfield. At the roundabout take the second exit to the next roundabout, then take the third exit onto the A632. Follow the road up the hill for about a mile and the hospital is on the left.
From the West (Stockport/Buxton) follow the A6 to Bakewell, then take the A619 to Chesterfield. At West Bars Roundabout (Matalan on right) stay on the A619 (third exit) to the next roundabout, then take the second exit onto the A632. Follow the road up the hill for about a mile and the hospital is on the left.
From the East (A1 and Worksop) take the A1 through Worksop following the A619 to Chesterfield, take the second exit onto the A61 By-Pass (Casa on right). Follow the A61 taking the first slip-road off. Turn right at the traffic lights onto the A632. Follow the road up the hill for about a mile and the hospital is on the left.
