We are excited to tell you about an upcoming event we are hosting to shine the spotlight on our patient support resources. Below, you will find all the information you need about our event, why we're doing it, what the day will involve, and why patient support resources play a crucial role to supporting and improving patient care within our Trust.

Why we are doing it
We're hosting this event to raise awareness about the patient support resources provided by the library.
These resources serve as invaluable tools to facilitate conversations among patients, staff, and relatives, easing the distress often associated with hospital environments. They offer crucial information and support to carers, families, and children during challenging times.

Additionally, we aim to raise funds to acquire additional resources, further enhancing our ability to aid and help improve patient care within our hospital.

What the day involves
You will have the opportunity to explore the resources currently available for patients. From books, music, activities, reminiscence packs and information packs.
Our aim is to showcase the different resources we provide, and how they help support patients during their stay at our hospital.

In addition, there will be a selection of refreshments and cakes available for purchase.
Also, you can take your chances at the tombola or browse through our gift stall.
